“I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date!!!”

The TimerHubs brand

A universal timer, built for everyone

TimerHubs is a free, browser-based suite of timing tools — stopwatch, countdown timer, Pomodoro, world clock, and more. No download, no account, no clutter. Just open the page and start timing.

Mission

Why TimerHubs exists

Timing is a fundamental part of how people work, study, train, cook, and learn. Yet most timing tools are buried in apps that demand downloads, accounts, or subscriptions, or are so cluttered with features that finding the timer itself becomes a task.

TimerHubs exists to give everyone instant access to precise, reliable timing tools. Open the browser, start the timer. That’s it. Every design decision traces back to a track in Mesa, Arizona: big readable digits, one obvious button, no signup, works on whatever device is in someone’s pocket, and a record of every time — because personal bests matter more than rankings.

The idea came from coaching at the Special Olympics. Working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, timing isn’t a side detail — it’s the whole event. It’s how an athlete learns they got faster than they were last month. You can read the full story in How Coaching Special Olympics Athletes Led Me to Build a Better Timer.

Values

What we believe, and how we ship

Six values guide every tool we add. When a feature would break one of them, we don’t ship it.

Universal access

Every tool works on any device with a browser — phone, tablet, laptop, Chromebook — and is simple enough that a first-time volunteer can use it correctly on the first try. That is the bar we measure against.

Free, forever

No accounts, no subscriptions, no paywalls. Every TimerHubs tool is free to use and free to share. We keep the lights on with unobtrusive ads on content pages — never on a running timer screen.

Private by default

All timing data — laps, splits, presets, rosters — stays on your device in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is sent to a server. Your times are your times.

Precise and reliable

Millisecond-precision timing that keeps running even if you switch tabs. We sweat the details so the digits are right when an athlete asks, “What was my time?”

Calm, not cluttered

Big readable digits. One obvious button. No popups mid-race. We design for the moment someone is actually using a timer — which is rarely a calm, focused desktop moment.

Built for the community

TimerHubs started at the side of a Special Olympics track. We still build for coaches, volunteers, teachers, students, and coworkers — and we listen when they tell us what is missing.

Our promise

Four things we will never do

  • We will never interrupt a running timer with a full-screen ad.
  • We will never ask you to create an account to use a tool.
  • We will never sell or upload your timing data.
  • We will keep every tool free to use and free to embed.
